Martin Bohen was born at Johnswell, Kilkenny, Ireland in November 1819 and died at Bunglegumbie (near Dubbo) NSW on 22 July 1891. His wife Elizabeth Seage was born at Curragh Bridge, Ireland in 1834 and died at Trangie NSW on 5 June 1910. They had been married at Bathurst NSW on 14 May 1851. She is buried in the town cemetery at Trangie NSW. He is buried at Dubbo but the exact location of his grave is unknown. It may have been in the Dubbo Pioneer cemetery (where most of the memorials have been lost to floods and vandals) or the Old Dubbo cemetery (for which the records are incomplete). It is also possible that he was buried at Bunglegumbie, a village long since abandoned and with no known cemetery.
